Mike Gentine is Senior Counsel to Commissioner Joseph P. Mohorovic, a role he has been in since 2014. Mike serves Commissioner Mohorovic as both chief legal counsel and lead speechwriter, and he has spearheaded efforts in a number of policy areas, including regulatory reform, Commission adjudicatory practice, and burden reduction.

Prior to joining Commissioner Mohorovic’s staff, Mike was an associate at Baltimore healthcare firm Fotheringill & Wade, LLC, and served as a law clerk to CPSC Commissioner Nancy A. Nord and Senators Chuck Grassley and Mike Lee. Mike received his JD from The George Washington University Law School in 2012, and also holds a BA in History and an MA in Communication, both from Florida State University (Go Noles!).

Mike lives in Crofton, MD, with his wife, Caitlin, and children Myles and Eleanor.
